Ms. Benton grew up in Stanly County, North Carolina and graduated from Pfeiffer University. She joined Anson County Early College in the fall of 2014 as a dually certified teacher in both History and English. She graduated in December of 2024 with her M.A. Ed in Professional School Counseling with an additional certification in Advanced School Counseling for Postsecondary Success. She is very passionate about helping her students change the world.
