Visit from UNC Public TV

UNC Public Television visited the Rotary Planetarium and Science Center and filmed a segment for NC NOW on the importance of using hands-on activities within our science instruction. Lilesville Elementary School 5^th graders and Mrs. Lori Ingram participated in the variety of science activities for the video along with Mrs. Wendy Efird, Planetarium Director, Dr. Altieri, Wadesboro Rotary Club Educational Foundation Chair, and Mr. Michael Freeman, Deputy Superintendent at the time. The program, which aired on November 15, 2013 was a great opportunity for positive exposure for our Anson County School District. Click here to view the video.
